All of our teachers still play: in bands, choirs, pit orchestras and on other people’s records. They teach here because they like it.

Piano and theory · Founder
Opened the school in 2011 in two rooms above the bakery. Twenty years of teaching, from first notes to Grade 8.

Played in function bands for ten years before he started teaching. Runs ukulele club and the adult beginners' group.

Trained in musical theatre and still sings with a local choir. Very good with nervous beginners and audition prep.

Every teacher has an enhanced DBS check, renewed every three years, and safeguarding training each September.

All six teaching rooms have a window in the door, and there’s always a second adult in the building.

Under 11s are handed back to a grown-up at reception. Tell us in advance if someone else is collecting.
